right after a failed buy with a red modified ford ka ive turned my attention to my mk2 1.8 silvertop zetec mondeo, as i bought it from ebay for the cheap sum of £243 witha knock at the rear, dent in the passenger side wing and some rusty rear arches, now ive sorted them things out and got a genuine RASP ST24 kit fitted that just needs painting and some 5 spoke 17s coming soon, is their much else i can do with this car, even the simple mod ideas will be a step in the right direction lol

 

Just the usual cone air filter. 4 branch manifold decat. Some people fit 2ltr cams to the 1.8s.

 

if you go for 2ltr cams you'll need the 2.0 ecu as well.
supercharging, turboing or throttle bodies will give nice performance gains at a price.
upgrading the brakes to the mk3 mondeo ones (260mm to 300mm) is an easy job for the fronts and a bit more involved on the rears. for a bit more work then the asbo focus brakes will fit with Focus RS 324mm 4-stud discs but check your rim clearance. there are lowering springs/kits available which will help with the stance instead of it looking like its on stilts.
