I have a 1998 1.3 hcs escort. Intermittently, the engine starts to race when either changing gear, or when selecting neutral. I have trawled various websites, and it looks like the culprit could be the idle control valve. Does anyone know where i can find this valve? Thank you.

 

I'm not sure on this engine, suspect on the inlet manifold somewhere, probably tucked out of sight/reach, haynes manuals are worth their weight in gold though for these things and loads of other service stuff in there.
