hello is there anybody out there
wondering if any one has refurbished mondeo rear calipers
intending to try and do mine
never done calipers before but willing to learn

 

not sure if rears are doable to be honest. if you can get a recon kit, new seals and so on, then its doable but not if you cant get the kit.

whats the problem with them??

if they dont fully return and bind on slightly check your discs and pads as i had this on my focus and it got advised on the mot and once i took everything off i discovered the pads were very worn (though still had some material left) but the discs were very worn so replaced them and low and behold the callipers return fully with no binding and rears now work superbly....even the hand brake feels like new!
