thinking of getting a tattoo, but no idea what to get.

i know i don't want a picture, so heading towards a phrase or a word that is meaningful.

Does anyone have any interesting ones themselves or any (sensible) ideas?

 

Ive got 2 so far , hoping for a few more once have a bit more money in my pocket This was my first one , not long after being done >>



Upto you writing if done well looks good , however ive never understood the chinese or foreign writing , as for all we know it could say "I rim old men"

having some removed so i can get them to continue on from my good un's,
dont go into a tattooist and pick something off the wall infact dont go to a tattooist that has picture's on the wall,end of!

find a picture/font or both take it in and get them to do it unique to YOU, the guy i use get's his pens out on me then just tattoo's it on, simples

in script down my side, as it's quite poinient (sp) to me.

I like the idea of a phrase. However where do you put it?

I really fancy a tattoo myself but i havent got the faintest idea what to get or where. My wife hates them so would have to be discreet. In the end i always just put it off

 

but if you cet a nice script it can look chav as fuck cos every trackie wearing gold hooped earing wearing whore's have them, BUT if you have the script then a nice flower/cherry blossom it look's MINT!

I decided recently that I'm going to get one, need to first slim down and tone up a bit.. and also have no idea where to put it. Want the words "Stand Fast" which is a clan motto that means a lot to me, but have no idea what else to accompany it with.... still, fair bit of time to decide as I get back into the gym/fitness stuff again!!

i have 2 the 1 says "what good is running if one is on the wrong road" wrote on my right for arm. the other scrolls throught a cross on my upper arm. that reads "face your fear, live your dreams.

 

I haven't got a phrase just names on the bottom of my neck, they are my Mums, Sisters and Neices names in Japanese.

The reason being is they are the 3 closest women who will always be in my life and thoughts no matter what happens.

I've got a number '9' on my shoulder, it's always been my lucky number and I was born on 9/9/81 (8+1 = 9), meaning I was 9yrs old on the 9/9/90

 

I'd love a tattoo, in fact I'd love LOADS of 'em! But I'd wanna chop and change every few months and I sure as shit wouldn't wanna be stuck with them for life.....

As long as whatever it is you get will mean the same to you in many many years time as it does now, then cool.

Nope, I prefer the look of Japanese writing, I had the guy stencil it up in English & Japanese.

I am thinking of getting my Dad and kid brother put there too because they too will always be in my life.

 

The more you practice in peace the less you bleed in battle.
