I wonder how many of you use the Quidco scheme? I personally earn about £50 per month from it for doing nothing. Maybe you can too?

Basically, if you buy from eBay or any one of thousands of popular shops, you can earn commission for just going to that site through their portal first. I have been using it for years and now they have started to offer a refferral scheme I guess its in my interest to share this info with you all... lol

Click me to go to the QuidCo site.

Edited to add that it is FREE to join. It doesnt cost you a PENNY!

Ha Ha, sorry guys, it really is me. Any of you guys out there who buy for businesses using online shopping could make a killing. A mate of mine, who reffered me to it pulls in a cool £300+ per month to his own bank account buying stuff for the local council via their portal... but I didnt suggest you do that of course!

We've been using Quidco for a couple of years now. It's a no-brainer really. For day-to-day internet purchases, you simply log in, find the merchant you want to use (almost all the significant online retailers are on there), follow the link then from that point you shop as normal. If we shopped online for groceries etc, it would be even better for us, but for stuff like car insurance, recovery, home insurance, Sky TV etc, its fantastic.

I got about £40 cashback on my Aviva car insurance policy, £65 cashback on my Sky HD subscription etc etc. You do have to wait and sometimes they don't track properly, or default etc, but generally it's all good. We've had about £500 since we joined.

I spend about £500 a month on average between play.com and amazon, would it be worth my while joining?

Absolutely no question about it. It takes about 30 seconds to log in and get to the Play/Amazon site to shop as you normally would. The money may take a month or two to arrive at your account, but it costs you nothing to do it.

Might as well give a whirl then. They're the only two really popular online retailers I ever use, but do use them quite a bit.

Im in, earnt £200 this year already. As said, its no extra work for free money (well, discounted money). Was gutted I found it AFTER I joined skyHD Its also good how once you register your card you can even get cashback in various shops without having to do anything. Like 4% at cineworld, did it other day thinking it wouldnt work but sure enough, tracked within 48 hrs.
Another link here just in case people have missed stus

Do you get a referral fee for people using that link then Stu?

If so is that just a one off thing or do you get it everytime they spend after having signed up through you?

you can do something similar with nectar where if you link into amazon, or ebay from their site, you get points for your purchases

also, dont forget to use a cashback credit card....cant fault mine £200 a year for doing nothing!

you register, then on their site it lists all the discounts and cashback rates at the moment. You then click on the site, ebay, vodafone, sky pretty much all popular sites and more then carry on as normal, it then tracks your purchase and you get cashback at the advertised rate. They then put it in your bank. No hassle whatsoever, just got to remember to use the link to the site your buying off rather than going from google. So if you see something on a site you want write it down then go to quidco site, click on that sites link and purchase like that.

On a similar note. What about this stuff on youtube, where they say they will offer you money when they place adverts on your videos ?

How does that work ?

Only works when you sign up via their site. Money is paid to you direct to your bank or paypal accounts.

Thats all yes, just make sure you dont close that window that has opened i.e. play, as its tracking your purchase. Normally after 48hrs quidco will say its tracked then after a days/weeks/months the money will be paid to them then put into our account. Some companies are really quick at getting the money to you but some can take like 8 weeks. I prefer to keep it in and take it out closer christmas, bit of a nest egg.
