wow-what a storm that has been tonight that lasted about 2 hours. Never heard rumbles as loud as that before.

Got a few pictures, but sadly as it was cloudy the forked lightning isnt clear and just shows a bright white sky.

 

Did you get it down there? We got some heavy rain in Stafford but no storm while I was here. I went out about 6.30 and was over Notts way and it was black as anything, loads of lightning too, saw a couple of crackers, but was mostly just sheet lightning sadly!

 

had the rain, and could see the lightening through the clouds lighting them all up but no thunder , still going on now

 

Drove through Buxton earlier and it was thundering,lighting and hail stones.Some roads were flooding,wasnt nice to drive in at all.
