TBH mate, it may well push him over the edge. given the current situation, snorting charlie, drinking a lot, put loads of weight on, and apparently suffering depression, maybe the thought of getting back in the ring, could have been his 'saving grace' so to speak.

but still, as i said, his glory days are gone, and i dont think there is a cat in hells chance of him getting back to the pacman/mayweather level, so his fights wouldnt be the 'big' fights anyway.

his reputation has taken a massive battering of late, so i think he is better off retiring with two defeats, to the two best pound for pound fighters on the planet, there is no shame in that, and with the boxing purists, he will still be classed as one of the best fighters of his generation, but again, with his coke/weight/drink/depression situation, can he pull himself together without boxing, and move on, or it will it push him deeper into the decline ?
