Air Charge Temps
I know lower is better but at what point are they too high ?

60 is too high.
50 even is a bit high but obviously dependant upon weather, standstill or rolling makes a diff too.

I agree with Ranss, in the north east of scotland, a good cool air temp is about 25-30, creeping up to 40.

25-30 is perfect
anything more than 40 odd you will start to suffer from heatsoak

my turbo diesel pug produced temps in excess of 80 deg with no intercooler lol. But yeah petrol cars need to be below 40

i did a 0-60 in my 3dr years ago at ford fair and i was hitting 60+ air charge temps
didnt want to boost too well at that level - but still managed a 5.78 time

nah - it was fine - did 3 launches and that was my best time - with a fooked up launch and loadsa wheelspin.

Depends on how it has been mapped - ask Uncle Tony
. Usually above 50-55°C.

I will be very interested to see if ducting makes a real difference to the ACTs

Just been having a good look at the intercooler for ducting purposes and all i can do as put a shield on the bottom of the cooler to the bumper, the rest of it is already reasonable tight.
Only got a 50mm cooler as well

my wi used to come in at 44d and in summer the 1 liter tank didnt last long
that was on a 60mm radtec intercooler aswell.
i will check the gtr when i use it again, havnt actually looked at the act on the power fc yet

Gauge arrived today
Great if you have a 2wd or 4x4 inlet as it just screws in
I have a Escos one which ain't got the correct size hole
Just my bloody luck
Need to find the correct size tap now

Also after reading the destructions you need a 1 amp fuse as well, could i get one yesterday
Manifold now done and refitted but got rained off before my Brother and i could finish the job, also didn't have the fuse anyway
I think Mr Rainbird needs to put that in his add

cos if the cars running hot then u just put ur foot down to cool it,so it doesnt really matter.........anyway think i need a new sensor bit for mine as the guage just reads "lines" now...............(does any of that make sense...
