what are they like...

thinking of getting the HTC desire HD
heard they are pretty awesome, but want to know what people actually think.

 

Ive got desire and its amazing in fairness. HD can only be better.

 

Im using a desire, its shit hot, had no problems with it and it does everything I need it to.

I'd have one over an iphone 3gs but not really used a 4 so cant comment.

 

its a big phone, cant tell you what its like as they are not out yet!

 

battery looks a touch small, only 1230mah's

 

On mine now,used it for sat nav yesterday

Blows the dangleberry I had before
out of the water

Only issue is battery but had that at first with the danglebery

 

ive got a htc desire, it was fine for a month, then it started getting stuck in a restart loop, ive sent it back and they are putting a new motherboard in it. waiting for it to get back now.

 

HTC desire has been out of stock for all eternity on Orange - something wrong there...

 

Cant comment on the desire but i got a wildfire a couple of weeks ago and i think its awesome, i'm not really into phones but i'm well impressed with it.

I assume the desire would be even better, although its a bit on the large size for my liking.

 

i gave up after 2 months

 

I am fed up with the missus nagging for one

 

after waiting 2 months i finally got one saved in a store near me, went down and prefered the galaxy s so got that

 

I`ve been waiting for the desire hd to come out, hopefully orange have it or im jacking them, been with them 8 years aswell

Superb phones.... had an iPhone before and got fed up with the constant standard issues they have...

Mine took 2 days to arrive.. on Orange too so not sure why people have had issues. Although its a very popular phone..

 

Desires are awesome phones, really fast and easy to use unless you have sausage fingers!

 

Phoned orange and they dont have the desire HD on there system yet.


Better get it soon or im jumping ship!!

I'd only have a HTC - currently on Hero and with the 2.1 update is impressive - have another 12 months on contract but i'm interested to see what they have planned for then

nice ! im still on 2.1 with the galaxy s was scoring 950 as standard and when messing with the phones cpu can get up to 1400, cant wait for 2.2

 

fair do's, mines totally standard, cant see any advantage to me by rooting it.

 

no me either i just have to mess all the time just wish froyo would hurry meant to be %450 faster ( not that its slow anyway )

 

I'd get a desire over a 3gs....but i got a i4,better screen,HD video with light and better battery...but dont know about the desire HD

 

I'm probably going HTC with my next phone as I don't want to become an i-sheep

 

Yeah I ordered mine last month from Dialaphone and it took about 9 days to get to me but not too bad. Would have been a day if in stock. Its a popular phone and I'm on Orange also.

Desire HD is out next month or so isn't it? Desire and Samsung Galaxy S are the top two at the minute IMO and both worth looking up. I spent ages comparing before going Desire. I love my handset, its superb.

LOL, you'll still be a sheep mate like us as everyone also has a Desire but it just means you made your own mind up a bit more and looked into it instead of being brainwashed by a bazillion TV adverts.

Just got in and only just noticed the notification for the 2.2 Android OS update (Froyo), doing it now which will give the 720p recording amongst other stuff. Been waiting for it since before I had it as didn't want to debrand ideally like had to with Nokia's etc.
