i put one in my estate a couple years ago,you will need the speedo sensor to screw into the speedo drive on the gearbox,it will screw straight on to your gearbox

I have put a few of these in a nova,mk3 cab and a Sapphire. The Sapphire was the easiest because the transducer screwed straight on the the Sapp bulkhead because it was a two part cable I think due to it having a fuel computer.Mk4 dont have the dimmer do they like the GTE or Sapphire.

its not a speedo cable its a sensor that screws onto the gearbox,it will have 3 wires coming from it,1 wire goes straight to the dash and the other 2 go to the live and earth on the battery iirc

I didnt think there was a cable ? It is 10 years since I have owned a GTE though.
I thought the transducer screwed straight on to the box ?.
