For people who have worn ones and know how difficult they are to get hold of in good condition.
My m8 just bought an escort gti (R reg), when i looked inside i noticed the gear knob was very similar to the 3dr cos one except for it had a white face instead, so i'd thought i'd take the chance and buy one and hoped it fitted and to cut a long story short, it did!
It is exactly the same but instead of black it is a very dark grey, which to be honest suits the 3dr interior better imo. And if you dont like the white face you can easily prise it out and glue on your original black one(which i might do).
And to top that off it only cost £20 with my ford discount but lets be honest most people on here probably knows someone who can get discount. So for a score and a 5 min job to swap the faces over you will have a brand new gearknob
