Posting for a friend of mine.

On 16th September between 7pm & 10pm a Highland Green MK5 Cortina (5 door) was stolen from the Bolton Area.

I have a fondness for the old Mk5.. I had a red one that was my first car many moons ago. It was the first car to be painted with waterbased paint which Standox were testing. Unfortunately it got nicked also.. doesnt help when you can open the things with bloody door keys.

 

Just a heads up, it is believed that this car has been spotted in Preston. Anyone in the area please keep your eyes open!

 

That's someone with an old ford key that has knicked that by the sound of it if it's been seen out and about. Chances are it will turn up either in one piece of burnt out to destroy any evidence. Get a few boys out and trawl the streets for it and chances are you will find it.

I work in Preston so will keep my eyes peeled for you, I hope it gets found safe n sound I like the Mk4 & 5 Cortina.

I seen one at about 4 p.m. being towed on an a-frame through Colne, but it was blue? Is that a recent picture of the car?
