Yes! FFS! Came home yesterday, thought.. Feels warm in here. Fookin heating on! Mrs not even at home either. Different planet.

Mind you, I'm sure my childhood has a lot to do with preferring it cold. I never experienced heating until I was 15, lived in an old farm house with single glazing and holes in the walls too.

you must put it on for a half our every month!! minimum dont wait till the temp drops-
preventitive maintenance.-stops the pump from sticking over long layoffs.

and when the baby comes along you can't get them too hot either

Not had it on yet but she's been trying! I'd prefer to sit in a jumper with fresh air personally but no kids yet, so I'm sure that'll change.

ours has had to be on (on-and-off) since the end of July! stupid bastard crap brummy 30's semi with no insulation to speak of. that and the rubbish weather we've had here.

doesn't help that the owners previous to our landlord had central heating installed on the cheap, so the rads are in the middle of the house for shortest pipe runs rather than by the windows where they should be.

Yep, turned it on yesterday. Now tempted to get a wood burning stove fitted cause if we have another winter like last year by gas bill will go through the feckin roof.
