Default Ford Fiesta 2001 (Y Reg) - New Stereo Installation (With Pictures) PLZ HELP!

Hi Guys/Gals,

I recently decided to buy a new CD player/Bluetooth player for my car. Not really an expensive one but does everything I need it.

Im having a complete nightmare trying to install it.

I've unplugged the standard player that comes with the car, and I'm left with the following...

I've got completely different colour cables to try and match up with the Wharfedale system..
Can anyone tell me what wire does what using the picture I've posted above...

I cant seem to find anything on the internet.

The diagram on the back of the Wharfedale system is this...

Not sure if that'll help whoever replies

Thanks so much!

I dont understand mate. Why do I need an iso connector? I just need to know which wires to put in which holes as the colors dont correspond, surely?

Edit:

Ahh I think I see what you mean...
Something like this.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Fiesta-IS...item3ca67d04c6 ??

Yes, buy that, bin off the harness that came with the stereo and it will work! Simple.

I presume you've already got a fascia adaptor to fit that headunit, and an adaptor for the aerial?

Thanks for your ridiculously quick help guys. I've had this post on another forum most of the day! Thanks again!

I've ordered this one - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=330464010331 - Same thing right?

Thats the one.

But you will need the other part (see link) as the Fiesta Stereo is a 1.5 din size.

This will take it down to 1 din.
