what dry food do you feed you're dog/s......i use James Welloved kibbles which he seems to like, but then again he's a fucking dog and hasn't grasped the art of speach yet.......we change the "flavour" every bag, just wondered if anyone had a better choice........cheers (this is GD)
We use Dr Johns Gold.

A bag lasts our 35kg Ridgeback 1 meal a day for around 5-6 weeks.

Mine has 1 tin of Butchers dog meat (either jelly, gravy or loaf which is like a tripey meat mix) and three handfuls of Morrisons My Dog Premium mix dry food all stirred up together. It lasts him about a minute to a minute and a half.

^^ good for cleaning their teeth.
My Cairns have Bakers dry food or Wainwrights/James Wellbeloved/Nature Diet/Nature's Menu food or a tin of tuna.
The first one was a rescue at 9weeks old so it was trial and error. He didnt like the Pedigree puppy food, and wouldnt eat the same thing too often, hence the variety!
The pup had James Wellbeloved dry puppy/junior food up until 12months as that was what the breeder started her on, and shes bloody grown well!!

mine gets bakers complete, and a tin of pedigree chum plonked ontop. i used to mix it but it used to attract loads of fucking flies as he doesn't eat it all on int go.
he eats the chum in one go off the top with some biscuits, then eats the rest of the biscuits during the day when i'm at work. he seems to like them cos his bowl is always empty

I dont feed my staffs on dry food, they get fed twice a day on pedigree mixer and either meat/loaf,meat jelly or meat and gravy.Tried other brands but fuck me they reeked
My seventeen year old cross (Mother Patterdale/Staff Father Greyhound/Collie) has been fed on Iams and has lovely shiny fur and decent breath. She is still running round like a good un. She loves carrots, so much so she was pulling them out herself in the garden! Wet food sticks to the teeth.
my two staffs have harringtons on its own in the morning which is a dry food and then the same again in the evening with a tin of butchers added to it
http://www.harringtonsdogfood.co.uk/ really good dog food and no nasty smells with it either
available from asda and tesco's

hi i have a akita and a pup roti i feed them wagg and a can each the akita eats the dry food sometimes but the rotti kills it every time.ive tried the rest then stuck to d best wagg.
I use biofood dry dog food, with roddi frozen meat supplement. Dunno if those brands are available in UK, lots of normal priced alternatives available anyways. Try to avoid dogfood containing too much grain and corn, which will be difficult seeing this is the main ingredient in most dog foods seeing it is a very cheap ingredient. Why avoid? Dogs cant digest that shit. Can also be cause of skin, ear(yeast)infections. Also stay well clear of Ethoxiquine, or other anti-oxidants as that shit is seriously toxic, but is still in lots of dog foods. Need to keep my doggy in good shape. Rescue dog, 9 year old, 57kg, not a grey hair in sight. Grumpy git though.

Yip the bones splinter. Ud be suprised how much human foods are bad or very bad for dogs, that said, some dog are pretty much robust to most things. Makes sense when u think in some countries dogs survive on scraps. I find the bigger the dog, the more careful you have to be. My dog is a pretty expensive hobby, then again i chose for it.
My dog reminds me of Duke.
Marline, the dogs got his head in the aquarium again....Old brit com line there.

The most info on the whole thread the reason i feed 100% BARF.
Porks fine for dogs as long as its not 100% only food.
Theres been studies claming loss of hair, coat condition, heart trouble due to nutritional elements the pork lacks but when feeding other items these balance them out.
Some dog food even contain chemicals to make dogs looks nice and shiny.... To make people think its such good food.

i give my dogue de bordeux chappie, with a tin of butchers tripe mix and some ham or chicken mixed in. 12st and healthy
the vet said chappie and wagg are some of the best dry food on the market as they've got no additives.
and if u wanna bulk your dog up put them on satin balls

Pork has to be frozen for atleast 3 weeks as it causes worms for dogs.
