I got an st170 and need a new heating element for the drivers side.

Ford quoted me £90 for base and £80 for back. Fuck off ford lol.

Any1 know where else I can get these from or do I need some luck and wait untill someone breaks an st170 or do I just have to go ford

You can get them off ebay but you'll need to sort the wiring out.

I've heard that the wiring itself breaks down more often than the element, worth inpecting to see if it can be repaired.

 

put a volt meter on all wiring etc. thats all ok. so must be the element.

gna wait a couple weeks and see if any st170 on scrap yard but i know the seats would go straight away lol. then i think i might just go to ford as i tried lookng on ebay and couldnt find anything
