Default Side Stripes .... cough ** cough ** 2nd attempt ** cough ** cough

Having got my DMB fade outs in the post recently I followed the instructions to a 'T' and attempted to fit the stripes.
Talk about getting it wrong .... total disaster, I would think unless you are fitting these every day there is no way to them 'dry'. You cant get out air bubbles or reposition, its a real 1 shot deal.

So I ordered a 2nd set and youtubed how to fit, talk about easy !! Doddle. After paint worked cleaned (again) back to just paint, ie no polish / wax, spray plenty of very mild soapy water on car, take off full length of backing paper and spray the back of the stripes, this temporaly neutralises the glue and lets you slide it around and easily move out any air bubbles using a credit card or similar. Then when happy, more suds on the front sheet and peel slowly away, rub with cloth and quick once over with hair dryer .... job done .... 10 mins no tears Drove car 30 mins later no problems either. Was hoping not to see my stripes fly off in the rear view mirrors and adorn a lampost.
