hi all im clue less when it comes to cosworths ,iv got a bear 2wd head
im using on my 4x4 focos build iv orderd the shimes for the cams
were best to get cams valves ect do i need new or secondhand be ok
im wanting get 350/400 outa the motor when its built any help or pointers would be great

standard cams are fine for that power theres plenty of good second hand ones around if you look in the right places, as for valves im not sure ive herd they can be very expensive

You will probably be better off buying a decent second hand head off ebay and giving it a refresh, using the standard ford cams aswell. Maybe go for some new guides if needed and re-grind the valves.

dont mind building this one up probly cost me the same to buy one done
mate will port and polish it and regrind valve seats beefy got tool for puting guides
