Default Air condition (R12) service ports 4x4 saff

Hiya,

can anyone tell me where the service ports are on a 1990 4x4 Saff (YBJ/red top)?

Also, pics of the A/C compressor and bracket would be nice.

Cheers!
Peter

follow the pipes, 1 on the high pressure side and 1 on the low presure side, they will have caps on them with the cap removed you will see the external thread.

Are you retro fitting the system to use R134a ??

Nah mate...

Found the ports now, don't know how i overlooked them in the first place.

Does anyone know where you can still buy driers/accumulators for a Cossie?

Cheers mate. Is there a difference between the ones used in R12 and R134a systems?

I think you will be lucky to find anyone who can service/repair R12 aicon systems as R12 has been banned for years.
If there is a solution for R134a to be retro fitted go with that if its cost effective.
