Default Manual steering rack on 3dr? Opinions please.

Next stage of my 3dr build is to sort out the steering set up, to sort out the power steering i need to get hold of a pump, cooler (if i go down the pas route i shall fit an uprated cooler) high pressure hose, a resevoir and then replace one of the lugs on the block (by somehow welding and tapping it out) that the pump bolts to as it was broken off when the engine was in a car that had a head on. I was wondering what peoples opinions are on fitting a manual rack instead of pas. For less money than it will cost to get the power steering up and running i could fit a manual rack. The car will not be getting used on track, just as a sunny sunday car really. Can the steering be a bit heavy with a manual rack or is it still quite driveable?

Loads of sierras with manual steering, so up to you, if you want to keep a nice quick ratio like the std 2.54 turns lock to lock as on the cossie it will be heavier of course but not unduly so, and then only at parking speeds, you could use the ps rack just without the ps, even cheaper, or if wanted fit a more normal 3.3 turns lock to lock of a non sporty sierra, at the other end there is a 2.2 turns lock to lock manual, as I built one up for roosie, but of course less leverage will be heavier.
It won't be a problem unless you're the man of the MR MUSCLE advert!!
