why the hell has some retarded modorater decided to move my general decussion on my new vehicle to the pictures and video section, i had put it in this section for a reason, for GENERAL DECUSSION as to the look and what people thought, if i had wanted it in the PICTURES section i would have put it there, no dought this rant will be deleted because i called the mods a retard

Could you not have just said "can my thread be moved back into general discussion please"? or similar, might have returned a better response

 

its bullshit, these days they keep moving ANY thread with pics in it into the pictures forum. Not been funny but thats 95% of posts that have pictures so the pictures/video forum is gonna become the new GD. For me pictures/video room is more a show and tell, any discussion should supprisingly be left in general discussion. Power crazy I tell you!!

 

because posts about new vehicles with pictures are supposed to be put in the pictures and photos room.

nothing to do with being "power crazy" we have sections for different things and General Discussion keeps getting clogged up with absolutely everything so we move things about.

Its hardly the end of the world is it.

 

I think its to do with getting more "air time" being in here, as more people browse meaning more people will see/comment, i think thats what its about.

But if the rule is all pictures/new car threads in the pic/vid section then so be it, as you say its not the end of the world

I actually think its in the rules about new car threads that they can stay in GD for 24 hours or so and then we move them to the Photos room

the description under the pictures/photos room even states

"If you want to show off your photoshop skills, share pics and videos of your car or other cars you've found, here's the place to go."

so maybe bj928 you should check the rules and room descriptions before steaming in with the unnessecary insults.

 

The point is though, nearly every new topic could also easily fit into one of the sub-forums, where is the line in the sand? Anything with a picture should go in to the pictures forum, anything about any ford should be put in the appropiate sub-forum for that car? Its going to end up like the RSOC BB with a million little sub-rooms that has hardly anybody looking at them. Would it not be better to allow say 24hrs in the busy room then move it so the people that have showed an intrest can still follow it whereas if it had been posted in the quieter rooms they may never have seen it.

 

It's only been moved, its not like it was deleted, cant see what the problem is!

Stephen - yes i see what youre saying about drawing the line etc etc so we just try to move things about as sensibly as we can!!

large picture threads go in the photos/pictures room as do video clips and new car threads after 24 or so hours.

You have to appreciate that General Discussion gets very congested so although people dont appreciate it it is actually done for the benefit of the board and users... NOT for a power trip!! lol
