Default water leak cossie 4x4

Got a few issues with car at moment including a 3rd gear that sounds like a tractor. However my current concern regards a water leak/drip comming from the side of the engine around where the two hose conect under the inlet manifold. I have checked the hoses and clips and they are dry. When the engne is off there is just a drip and when she is running there is a strong dribble. what is the box thingy that the two hoses are connected to? I have changed the two hoses and they are nice shinny samco jobs.

the "box thing" is a modine (oil/water cooler)

they do have a habit of corroding - sounds like you need a replacement
