Guess which car these came off, the clue is in the title
... What is bizzare is they are NOT meant to fit a std car with a 6° rear beam, but they have gone straight on and don't rub, I have only driven the car gently so far, but it all seems good? :dunno: The good news is that it seems to have cured my long standing vibration issues, even with the Rondells zero balanced there was still a vibration, maybe they had a flat spot from standing so long, who knows? I never thought I would find a wheel to replace the Ronnies, and these were only meant to be track wheels, but I might be sold now? What do you you think ?

Please ignore the missing front splitter and scruffy bodywork, it is all going to get done once the car is ready and mapped

They the old style ones in your sig mate? They look the bollocks as well
I was a bit concerned about black on a black car, but it seems to work as they are slightly lighter than the car... Still won't get rid of the Ronnies though...

.. Amazingly you can actually feel a massive difference without it fitted, above 60Mph the steering is a lot lighter, and it dosn't feel as planted.... As soon as the car is ready for mapping it will all go back on..

Car is entirely rose-jointed now, everything is metal to metal inc top mounts, Gravel spec magnesium Bilsteins, and has compression struts, and although I can't abuse it yet, the turn in is stunningly quick, and even with no front ARB ( got a group A bladed one to go on if needed) the car is just flat all the way though corners.
Believe it or not, the ride isn't harsh either, it is stiff, but not crashy or excessivly bumpy , just very pointy and complaint as I hoped it would be
To be honest Chipper I was going get martin to pull the rears before I get it painted, as I was fully expecting them to catch, and Dave did tell me when I bought them I would prob need arch mods. I think used in anger they will rub, but just to run in they seem to be ok, maybe due to a combination of Std ride height -25mm, VERY stiff rear Billes (280Lbs/in spring rate IIRC) and running 2 degrees negative camber.

If your rear springs are hight adjustable you can crank them down to the bump stops and this will show you how close they are.
Mark
as said in the other forum look sthe blolx i think
if you want to see what mods i had to do to mine then go to my resto as it will show you what i had to do to my inner and outer arches
