Default My s2 is finished after four years (lots of pics)

Well after four years my car is now all bar its final mapping its been on the road for about a month now and apart from the idle speed control valve sticking open touch wood every thing is ok, so i thought i would put some pics up.

This is what it was like before i did the resto

and after rhe resto

and after it noly being on the road for one week i was bored of the wheels that i had been looking at for a good few years so i took them to my work and got painting them i think they look a lot better now,I wanted a red lip round the egde of the wheel but i am not a fan of using tape so i panited it on as its the best way ell in my eyes anyway.

these pics was took the day before ford fair

and some from ford fair and the first pic has got to be my favorite one of the car so far

Thanks for looking and what do your lot think good and bad comments welcome
(i just now some will say something about the bonnet lol but i like it)

Looks like you've put a lot of effort in, good work! Interior looks smart.

Bonnet is shite though IMO. I say make it 100% and get rid of the 'bad boy' bonnet.

And i will be re-moving the spare wheel well over the winter as well as i do not like how it looks at the moment should have done it before i put it on the road but waiting four years was long enough as i just wanted to drive it again

Its like seeing SOY again, but with a twist.
I normaly hate big mouth and bad boy bonnet, but its right on this motor, its the soy-factor.
I think the interior, it by far the best part, really like that!

That looks fantastic. Just wondering how you went about fabricating the rear diffuser?

I tried later spec twin coils with dizzy cables and also new plugs. Worked fine for about one hour, then I lost one and then two cylinders...

Maybe I'll give it a try again
