Default respraying a bonnet????

Right i keep getting band marks which show both light and heavy spraying and i cant seem to get the balance right to make it one uniform weight!!!

any1 got any tips on how to get the perfect finish?

Try a lighter coat mate, sounds like you are puting it on a bit heavy

As rossco, sounds like its going on thick. Maybe not thin enough either? What paint are u using?

take it your using an aerosol if so ask for a wide spray nozzel this will help and like the above try thinner coats

nah im using a compressor with Lechler basecoat.

By thin coats do you literally mean 3-4 quick passovers?

If your using base coat and laquer, the you applly a few coats, then a flash coat, then a few coats of laquer.

Not sure what ya mean by quick passover. Just apply a nice even coat all over, mixed base coat and thinners 50/50. Then a flash coat( a quick coat just before the laquer).
