The old man got a new company phone but hates it so is selling and using his own

It is an iPhone 3GS 16Gb in black, boxed and still running IOS3.1

I have just finished jailbreaking it with jailbreakme.com and Cydia
and it is working superbly with no issues.

The phone was issued by Orange so unsure if it will work on any network? (Not tried any other sims in it)

Comes boxed with charger and has only been used to see what it is like and is in immaculate condition with no scratches or anything wrong with it

The only thing it doesn't come with is the earphones as the company he works for removed them before issuing the phone (H&S bullshit and all that)

Price as per the title - £250 and that includes Royal Mail fully insured Special Delivery next day delivery to any UK address (Scottish Highlands might be tricky and 48 hours)

OR Collection if you are local so you can see that it is as described!

 

Aslong as its defo Orange and isnt barred/similar i'll have it.

I'm pretty sure it isn't barred - I don't have an Orange sim to check it with but it is definately 100% on Orange


How do you tell if it is barred? I put an O2 sim in and it said "no service" in the top left corner

 

When I meant barred mean as in that its a handset that has been barred from non payment of bill etc etc bought a few phones like that now.

Could you get hold an Orange sim to try in it do you reckon? I've just sold a 3GS I purchased that couldnt get unlocked so need a definate Orange handset!

 

I'll ask one of my mates on Orange if he'll put his sim in it and will get back to you

It is definately not barred though as it was a company phone so no problems with the bill being paid

Graceland, you said you put a 02 sim in and it said no service, that means its not unlocked thats all, it will only work on Orange. For your(and his info)
