hey guys, my turbo is only boostin quarter bar now instead of half.. any ides why?? jst had dump valve recently fitted could that hav anythin to do with it?? thanks

 

You got the engine managment lamp on?

Sounds like it is in limp mode - some ST's have suffered this with certain dump valves. Get a dreamscience induction system then you get the full wastegate flutter and the dump valve noise.

P.S get a remap - it will then boost to full haha

ive just had a dump valve fitted recently, is this why then???? the esp traction light has came on saying esp system fault!

 

...the engine management light is not on. he said wen he fitted, if the light came on hed giv me full refund..

 

Not had new tyres fitted recently have you? I know that if there is a big difference in wear between front and rear tyres then it may bring the warning light on. There was an update for the ECU available from ford to fix this!

 

Can you still select 5th and 6th gears?

 

rear tyres were done while ago, and i need front ones asap, still select 5th and 6th yea..

 

..the turbo is boostin properly again, and the traction is working fine. woke up other day and it was back to normal !

 

Good to hear you all sorted now - mine goes through spats of it but a few people have found with some dump valves the fault stays for a while

thanks.. well the guy at revolution said hed refund straight away if theres was any problem.. so if theres anything else i think il consider..
