In the last half hour there has been 18 posts on PF, yet there are some 370 people online, of which 265 are guests?? whats that about, are people just logged on in the background at work? and why so many guests not bothering to sign up?

so you both dont sign in unless you want to reply to something? that would explain the huge number of guests

 

Most people don't post because they get ignored or slated off by other people on here. I personally rarely post as a lot of my posts go unanswered, so i go to forums where you will actually get replied to.

 

yea im signed in all day wile i am at work so i will show as a member online but half the time in doing other things so it just sits in the background.

 

A "guest" is someone who is viewing the site but NOT signed in, so this could be currant members viewing the forum OR new people, thats what he is trying to work out, 200 odd new people viewing without signing up would be strange...............

so many guest online and not signing up because now on here what ever you write or post you get jumped on which is why i hardly ever come on anymore

 

maybe they do have accounts but only login when they fancy replying, as if people are at work for instance there login details wont be saved to auto sign in so other ppl cant access there account at work, where as at home like mine, its on auto login
