never sold a motor on the bay before and it ended an hour ago.
The only thing is the winning bidder hasn't got any feedback score or anything and i know its only been an hour but he aint been in contact yet.
Do you think ive been stitched up and how long do i leave it before offering a second chance offer to someone else?

 

could just be that he's put a maximum bid in yesterday or something and he hasnt been back on the computer yet, obviosuly you could be right aswell mate ebay is full of dickheads

NO feedback = not a cat in hells chance of seeing any money. I am quite an optimist but with Ebay it just a pain the arse. I only use it now to sell small items. Give it a few days before you start sending emails etc. Did you ask for a paypal deposit?

 

well i went to the send an invoice bit and found his address and number so rang him and it was an indian fella in liverpool and he reckons he's having it told him to ring me later so could talk properly.

F*ck coming all the way from liverpool to Gravesend in Kent to pick up a J plate micra with 3 weeks mot for a couple hundred quid with no stereo. Thats gonna be a long ass trip back for him!

 

Just set up the buyer requirements when you list the item. You can specify how many feedbacks you want the buyers to have, you can restrict buyers that are from outside the area that you post to etc etc.

As for now, you do need to give it longer than an hour. There are some genuine people out there and as others have said, not everybody sits infront of a PC all the time.
