Done the whole polished stuff back in 2005 and got fed up Buftying Bailey tanks and throttle elbows!



Had a mini front end resto in time for Croft 2008, stealth and crackle!

You do i own a cosworth n also use a frs every other day n imo you will not find a better alround car that when pushed will out drive most things!!!

Stay around the 300bhp mark n you wont go wrong anythng over this n the standard managment struggles!!!!

am keen on getting one of these as my next car.. what are you roughly getting to a full tank of fuel?? i currently got a st170 i bet these aint far off the same fuel milage..

 

i get about 200mile,thats to work and back everyday driving,motorway will see over 250,maybe 300 if you drive like victor meldrew

ah right i get about 270 miles to a tank driving normal so its not much different. think i will have to get one soon. love them!

Lovely car your one, love the superleggera's.....had them on my rst and would like a set of 19's for my focus
Mileage wise yeah 250 to a full tank for me, only used ass a fun car though so gets driven fairly hard when i do go out....fuel gauge stays fullish for a good while, then drops like a stone once you've done 150 miles lol

 

it'd cost me another Ł3k or so though, lol.
I need a go in one i think, dont want to be dissapointed.

 

hmmm the smoked lights and st170 lamps are growing on me. THEDMAN your car looks the tits. meaning to get my wheels refurbed soon but cant decide on what colout to go, standard silver looks the bollocks but i fancy a change, also your underbonnet presentation is superb, can i ask where all those tanks are from??

not keen on the vents,dont think they suit the shape of the focus,saph vents look much better,also like the fiesta rs turbo vents
liking the gloss black fins and fog surrounds though

 

They are the Bailey tanks in the previous picture, crackle coated in black!

 

this one got some bhp ,we had race on motor way ,mates has 310 brake an it pulled away from us

cos the vents are on the piss and dont match the original lines of the bonnet! would look so much nicer if they were fitted in a better place on the bonnet.

Not in the same league as far as I'm concerned. Ofcoarse they'll drive better std'ish for std'ish but at the end of the day the focus is a modern day rs turbo, it's not the same level IMO.

I'm not slating the focus before anyone jumps on me but I wouldn't look twice at one on the road but a flint grey cossie is classic and I love seeing them on the road.

 

Couple of mine:




Just got some replacement bumper vents as them ones are getting a bit tackey.... but cant really see from the Pics, then just want a saph vented bonnet AP brake set up and then get it to 300bhp.....

 

I've had 3 x 2wd Saff and a 3dr in the last 10 years...... Wouldn't EVER go back to 1 now..!!!
