Default Conservatory owners...

Have any of you recently had roof blinds fitted?

Need to get some fitted, but a quick look this morning and it seems to be FULL of dodgy commission driven salesman muppets.. nightmare!

Has anyone got any reccomendations of places they've used?

Or am I better off fitting myself?

Another genuine ford based topic I know!

Fitting yourself all day long mate, i've had loads of cock salesman turn up and try and rip you off, you tell em its too dear and within 5 mins they can knock Ł500 off - rip off cnuts!!!!

I'm looking for vertical blinds for the windows at the moment, was quoted Ł1100 for just the side windows alone - i can buy IDENTICAL blinds for Ł140!!

For sides i'd say so mate.. but we are surrounded by fields, no need for sides / privacy

But deffo need some for the roof. Roof install isnt so DIY friendly.. but i cannot be ARSED with the salesman bollocks.. ie me listening, telling them no.. them coming back with a slightly less stupid price.. me saying no.. etc etc

I know they have to operate and turn over a profit, I just dont want them taking the piss!

Had blinds and got rid of them after a few months as they get ridicously filthy after a while.

Prompted me to have a proper roof put on with mechanically opening sky lights. Much better but i suppose defects the whole object of a conservatory.

If you want a proper job done try and find your closest Luxaflex dealer:
http://www.luxaflex.com/gb/en/findin...showroom/sb.cn They are not cheap but are without doubt the best for keeping heat in and out, You want the Duett ones not Plisse or any other type, Duette's are by far the best.

I used to be a Luxaflex dealer for 10 years but sold up to move down south.
