Colour should be more Kawazaki green not so pea green.

What you reckon, nasty or not.

 

ummm...not by cup of tea...the problem with that paint is the paint job has to be spot on otherwise it looks awful...i think a s2 will look better in that color...

im taking thats a photoshop??

 

When i read green S1 i thought lets have a look at this, its gotta look crap

But i think it looks wicked m8 and well suits it

It's my old S1, i changed it in photoshop, I think a proper Kawazaki green would really suit the S1 and I am considering doing it to one. Think black decals on it and possibly black and green interior in modderation on the green.

Just want to do it in a way that it can be reverted back to the original colour without to much hassle.

Resale might be a nightmare, really limited market .

the car is just immaculate and rapid wel it was when he owned it

That motor is sold now, after many years in Coventry it's gone to a mechanic in Blackpool

Yep, i loved the car, spent a stack on it but was time to move on.

Will pick up a cheap S1 that is heading for the breakers and rescue it, will feel better if I do that than spraying a tidy one.

this is how she looked when i sold her on, pearly white with all the trick bits, was a quick little motor.

Wasn't sure about it, but when I saw the original(and i'm not a fan of white), I liked that much better!!!
But, maybe it will look good in real life

There is only one colour for S1's and thats white

 

the pic of it in white looks a spitting image of my mates, except my mates has spots which i needs to finish the front end off nicely

not too keen on it in green though

S1's are white or black (if you lucky). should stay like that to!

I think it's not bad! But it's still not the original color wich is the best on a s1

it had no side stripes on it

and had gold mondeo wheels

looked gorgeous

then the last time i seen it, it was up on ramps a cov gearboxes as it looks now

is or was it still bling underneath too

what did you do to it

as i know when my mate sold it the new owner blew the engine and fitted a standard lump back in it

RS Shawn, yep I remember you, your new S1 looks the biz, well done mate.

XR4x4rs, I had the new rims fitted, new radiator, new interior as it was white vinyl,new belts,alarm,pipes and chrome, back lights, new AP clutch etc etc..... and yep Alan sorted me out with a new gear box, although the previous owner fitted one a year before me. used to eat them alive.

Needed a decent respray really to bring the bodywork back up to scratch as little bits were going in places.

Really like that dark green one, still have the mag feature.

There were a few, Mercury Grey one I did have a piccie of it, can't find it now though
Moza had a LHD S1 in Red, thought it were resprayed so changed it back to white - it was originally Red
There are many, just knowing where they are ain't easy to find out
Also have the Datapost S1's
