hi chopper the alloy tank as shown in your pics just behind the air filter is that needed on every escos as ive seen afew without this and wondered if this is right to maybe not to have 1?

 

isit some sort of oil cooler?

 

It's the catch tank for the breather system mate, not a standard part as they usually have the airbox there.

 

i did think that after i sent the message but still wasnt sure but gathered it was something to do with the oil.
