Nasty accident! He was such a good driver and respect him so much!

Was looking through the crash last night and I noticed something I never have before, his helmet had come off on impact and rolled on the floor in the corner of the screen. Terrible sight.

HE WAS the billy bollox... top driver what a way to go, do u think it was the g force which snapped his seatbelts and helmet strap as he was fyling thru the air??

never seen this before, im sure it'll be pretty shocking, as like Sennas and Laudas

I feel Laudas really outlined how nice the fellow racers were at that time - all stopped to try and save him. Don't see many doing that these days

how often is there a crash quite liek that tho, that was awful villenauve had no chance!!! todays cars are so much safer, but freak accidents do happen......... just hope they keep walkin away from them!!!

He died of a broken neck
