Default where is the fan switch on a puma

tried to see if i can bridge the connection to see if my fan works tried the one that plugs into the thermostat housing under the coil pack but that controls the temputure gauge. and as its dark i dont fancy rolling round searching unless some one is 90% sure they can point me in the right direction

thanks in advance for any help given

I don't know the puma engine wise, but the fans may be ecu controlled, so there may not be a "normal" type rad switch.

its under the coil pack. sensor tells the ecu how hot, then ecu controls fan and gauge.

fun cuts in at 110degrees c on them,
when a sensor fails on a puma it usually brings the fan on perminently,

look at the hcv valve for overheating issues.

As said above the ecu controls the fan.My mater has a mk4 fiesta,i found out the fans dont work on that and they are controled by the ecu.

well all sorted the someone had wired it back to front you are all correct after a hour with a multi meter i trace voltage to all connection but on the fan cowling is a risitor coil looking thing well the sensor plugs grey and the same shape as the fan motor connection and the colour only seen when i unplugged them only relised the coulors while i was testing the electric. so lesson learned.

The coil looking thing is no doubt a resistor for dual speeds ie air con etc.
