the rear tie bars bushes on my mk4 escort are knackerded i have noticed they are similar to the front track control arm bushes which go either side of the antiroll bar are these the same or similar? or does anyone know where i could these bushes from?

 

The bushes should be available at most motor factors, or fords, or if wanting better poly ones, somewhere like superflex, chris wittor.

the problem is that they dont make the bushes anymore and everyone i have tried cant get them, i asked at ford and they said they havent got any, i will have a look at some poly bushes, thanks for the reply

 

Rear tie bar to wish bone Ł18.99 Per set (2xbushes)
Rear tie bar to chassis Ł16.49 per set (4xbushes)

The are shore 80 grade a polyurethane and come in the standard yellow. I can however supply powerflex and in the next few weeks guenuine Polybush bushes which will be either black, purple or yellow. But the advantage is that the colour will not determine the stiffness of the bush as opposed to powerflex, the advantage being that if you want to have a medium stiffness bush but want the bush to be black and look standard we will be able to provide this.

This is all in the development stages but will be hitting the market real soon but be warned that the powerflex and polybush options are a lot more expensive.
