Hi all, quick question,

i have a series 1 rs turbo and have bought a entire engine set of silicone hoses (ancillary, coolant, boost)

I am unsure on what hose clamp types and sizes I need for the car, as not many dealers are offering a set, unlike the s2 rst, which there are plenty of packs available.

Any help on this subject is much appreciated!!!

 

NOT the Makalor type ones, they leak like mad!



I had these (and still do in my garage) and replaced them for some APT sorted me out with when I was up there for a power run, got home and fitted them, gained 5psi of boost without changing anything else.... shows how much I was leaking!

The ones I use now look like double width jubilee clips is the best way I can descrbe them.

 

karlos does apt do a full boost set?

 

as above. on my truck all thats used are 2 normal width jubilee clips on each end of a hose. they run in excess of 30psi for minutes at a time and work hard!

 

They dont do a set as such no... just have a wall with various sizes hanging up on, Christian came out and meassured what sizes I need and how many and I bought them.
