i have a 1.6 cvh 2wd sapphire and have a welded diff that i want to fit. now my question is, i've been told that to change the diff i need to remove the rear hubs and springs to enable the driveshafts to be removed in order to change it. what i'd like to know is if there is an easier way of doing this without stripping the rear end?

 

i think im right but your center cvj puch into the diff so you will have to do as you have said on a cosworth diff you just undo the bolts drop the cvj and off with the diff

atleast it gives me an excuse to overhaul my rear brakes while im at it.
