Default response to Conner.rst

a multitude of things:

1.) late shipment which meant i missed my planned week off for restoration.
2.) shipped actuator with metric fixing nuts --> i was told they was sure they were right, when i explained these will strip the thread, the guy would not send some out and advised me to go buy some ( i already did, from you!!)
3.) i ordered a -31 actuator, they sent a -18. since i missed my week off, i did not resotre the car till 2 months later, as such he would not accept a return as too much tim had passed..... NICE!! now i have a useless -18. pukka
4.) sent windscreen jets that dont work.
5.) i ordered a S1 rst fan switch, they sent a s2 one. They did re-supply a s1 fan switch but it did not work!!. again as a couple months had passed, no exchange or refund.

absolutely terrible behaviour in my opnion,. most other rs part suppliers help no end to help you get a beloved RS back on the tarmac. not these guys unfortunately

Spoke to the chap on the phone a while back "ian" i think it was.

Seemed genuine enough. Need some bits for my car which he was able to get for a good price too but not had the time to get myself down there at the moment. Got a friend who works for ford who goes down there quite often to pick up bits for himself and other mates with no probs at all

whats your bad experience?

Angry not again for me, i have to say

the guy was rude to me on the phone when i tried to reach an amicable resolution.

seems the only option is smalls claims court and trading standards.

Beware anyone looking to buy form these guys. They done me up like a kipper!!

Cheers for the warning mate, they seem a little expensive to me anyway.

However i suppose you have to remember you are buying 2nd hand parts, and trying to return them 2 months later.... i don't know of any large and reputable company that would willingly take returns 2months after the purchase date.

And for this reason you will not get very far in the small claims court. Have a read though the companies terms and conditions and you will probably see the problem.

Even after two months to have that many errors on one order and none of them customer related, I'd want it sorted. Cowboy behaviour on one order won't put a company under but reminds me of a quote on the FMS thread in GD:

"You can build a thousand bridges, but suck one cock and you're not a bridge builder you're a cocksucker"

All due respect yeah it's not a big priority order for a RS breakers, but who's to say the next one wouldn't have been. Shame mate, hope you get it sorted with them even if it's a swift slap to the chops
