ok looking under my 4x4 saph ready to replace the front dii. Looks kinda tight in there. Does it clear the steering rack etc?

Took two bolts off the prop then lost the rag.. The other two alen bolts rounded.
Typical ford. Job for another day now

 

I think you have to disconnect the rack from the frame and push it towards the front of the car to get the front diff out.

Has anyone removed a front diff?
Looks like i'm going to have to drop the sub frame, just wont clear it
