Good stuff, never nice to find rust but you're doing a nice job on the repairs.

Is that an umbrella resting up by the steering wheel?

Always good to see another Escort Coss restore thread.
The sunroof drains are shocking!! At the end of the pipe is a square of foam. Clever Ford thought this was a good idea! Thats why every escort rusts from the inside of the sill to the outside. On the std Escort theres a hole below the hinge. Pull the pipe through this hole and trim the end of so its nearly flush. Now the water will just drain to the floor. Repeat for the other side The rear ones are fine as they go into the rear vent behind the rear bumper and drain to the floor.
This was mine after doing the sill. I then trimmed it down so was nearly flush.

Had the sills replaced on mine to, I'm struggling to find a solution to find a way to reroute the pipe, got any more pictures of the result? And also how you made the lower square holes that holds the side skirts.
