Why can't I attach pictures

Hi folks,

I 've benn reading this forum for quite a while. Now, since I am heaving trouble finding a spare part, I thought this might be the right time to become an active member. But when trying to show the desired part in a pic, I figured out that I am not allowed to post pics or any other attachments. I have already searched through FAQs - but didn't find an answer why. Please help: What do I need to do?

go to www.photobucket.com and upload your photo's to there, copy an paste the link in your reply or thread.

How do you know you can't add pics to a post - you've only made one post so far, and thats in this thread?!?!
