is it possible to find original engine mount for the sierra 4WD

on ebay and burton only find reinforced (vibra collins ...)

I do not like the reinforced for an every day car


so like to find the standard one
but Where ??

 

Try the ford dealer, I got some(2wd though) just 2 years ago, and 4wd made much later than the 2wd, so worth a go.

350£ for the both !!

 

I just phoned my ford dealer for you, unfortunately the usual person is away today, and the stand in is more like a stand up comic, even telling me 2wd were exactly same as 4wd as they were all transverse engine!!
I'll phone again in the morning as hopefully usual person will be back

I've a friends who's engine mount has snapped and he was qouted £80 for 1 only a few days ago.

He works for a Ford dealer, not sure if that has anything to do with it?


I'm taking the engine out of mine over the next few weeks and will be opting for Vibra technics mounts, so if your still stuck I can sort you out.....

They have been in the car since new and my Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth has got 42,000 miles on

 

I'm sure I paid around £60 ish for my 2wd mount from ford.

A friend pay 400£ in france for the 2 engine mount
he buy them in march 2010 !!!!



so I wait for tabetha
