need help got a 1.25 zetec with bad overheating problem the fan is cutting in but not cooling the car it even over heading on motorways changed the thermosat but not made any different any ideals what it can be ?

 

you got enough coolant in ?

 

airlock in system?

 

the above could be on the ball with this one but if it overheats on a motorway when doing x speed the car should stay cool.. however it not so id say the water is'nt getting pumped around the engine.. so check the pump.. most likely.

 

yeah got coolant in it im changing the pump tomorrow so let see if it not that any other ideas
