Cam Cover refurb >pics<
refurbing a c20let cam cover for my brother,
planed to just scrub with degreaser,
sand,
then etch prime the cover and spray with normal spectral blue aerosol
(a genuine vauxhall colour)
was in halfords today (im a pikey cunt
) buying stuff and the guy behind the counter started banging on about needing high heat paint,
shurly it wont get that hot.. and normal paint should cope with 150-200 degrees max shouldent it?
and if it does, then how do i get the paint to stick to the ally without an etch coat.
should i use a mist-coat with the high heat?
i still think normal paint should cope as you can powdercoat a cam cover and that aint a high heat proof finish???
