I got it off ebay but bought the helmet brand new the quad was hardly used and was only ever used in the guys back garden. The battery is goosed but it kicks first time so i haven't bothered replacing it...

Oh, ey, I was barely allowed a pedal bike as a kid, it's not fair. Awesome fun mate, I bet she's made up.

Got to admit Benni i was never allowed anything like this and my parents don't approve. I plan to bring her up with her having as much fun as possible and if she wants to try something and i can afford it i will let her as long as she does it safely as possible. I just hope she will stick to the quad and not ask for a dirt bike anytime soon pmsl

You're like that parent off 'Big Daddy'. She'll be called Frankenstein next and coming home with DVD's from trick or treating. Love it!!

Wow,wish you were my dad!!!do you want to adopt me,I'll be no bother!!!!Always wanted stuff like that as a kid but was never allowed, even when I could pay for it myself I was always told no.it just makes you want it more so you end up doing silly things like riding someone elses, falling off, lying,it all becomes a big mess then,I think you've done a nice thing.we wrap our kids in cotton wool far too much nowadays,my boy came up to me yesterday asking whether they could camp in his mates garden,he's 14!!!!me and the boys used to be getting fucking pissed down the park and going to the local nightclub getting home whenever at that age,by 16 it was getting boring!!that wasn't just me but nearly everyone in my year and I'm sure loads of you the same.

yeah admittedly been a single dad aint easy and with working etc i tend to make time we get days off count. I wouldn't change it for the world though tbh. The quad is bigger than i thought but as said i'm mostly on with her and she will get bigger it's a cheap afternoon of fun and she loves it.

Funny you should say is it for the little un everyone does lol

How it all started is my mates boy has one and he asked if Leigha wanted a shot so once she had a go with it she was hooked. We all went out one day on the beach and my mate snapped his pull cord and hasn't yet got it fixed. As for do i have a shot it would be rude not too but mainly i'm a passenger lol

There definetly alot of fun though and use hardly any fuel or oil

You can restrict it right down to 2mph with the twist of a screw and there is a remote cut off plus a dead mans handle type thing. Don't get me wrong it is heart and mouth stuff at first but i take her right out the way and go on with her most the time. There will no doubt come a point later on she'll get confident and wanna rag it but if it aint a quad it could be her car later on in life as parents were always gonna worry

cool best thing to do is spoil your kids... I'm the same mate single dad with 2 kids fair enough they're a lot older than your little-un.. But I've done the same for the last 6yrs spoilt the both of them..and all i got from the ex nut was complaints and moaning..

SO if you can't spoil your kids and yourself who else can you spoil... you're only a child a small amount of time in your life..so it's best to have fun and be spoilt..you're an adult a long time..not that it stops you from having some fun lol

mate i went thru the same thing, althou we'd already been thru the solicitors for a year or so, my sons 7 now and i've been a single dad as such/not with his mum for nearly 6 years now, got him a quad bike too when he was 5 so she got the needle, the solicitors know there's nothing they can do but they have to be seen to be acting on their clients behalf nonetheless, chin up mate seems your doing the best you can for your daughter i know it's not easy but the smile on their faces make up for it

I went to see my solicitor about the quad letter she laughed told me not to worry. When my Daughter is with me the ex has no say but because my daughter is in my main care i have some say as to when and were my daughter goes with the ex.

I just want the court stuff to be over tbh the ex never turned up for 1 year of trying to sort it sometimes i think if i had done that the case would have been ruled in my abscrnce never mind all's well so long as me and the little one have fun i'm happy
