Can anyone advise me on whats the best oil to use in my RS turbo?

 

i always used mobil 1 15 50 in my cvh turbo

 

15 50? I thought it had to be 5 30?

 

Are you not thinking of zetecs they use fe 5w30

 

I always FOund castrol RS worked better than Mobil 1 as it works at a higher heat range

 

First thing i done when i brought the car was an oil change. I've purchased Valveline fully synfectic 5w 30. Is this the wrong grade of oil for the car? Only when you put your foot down at high revs the car is filling the hose from turbo to inter cooler with oil. Is the oil to thin?

 

ive always used 10/40 castrol semi.What your using is normally the grade used for freshly built cvh,for the bedding in period.but tht also normally mineral oil.
