With kick off being 3 o'clock... What has your work said about watching the game?

We are fortunate that the company I work for has said we can go to pub and watch it well chuffed.. Can't see many working whilst it was on anyway, so probably the best move....

we have big screens in our restaurant plus a bigger projector screen in there specifically for the world cup!

 

and they lay on free food too!

i work for myself so 2 oclock finish then the local watering hole

 

go to the pub as long as we have done our days work...

In all honesty even if we haven't i will be in the pub, Ridiculous really you cant stop people watching england in WC

 

I will be driving a Train from St Pancras to Dover, well it departs at 1512.

Not worried anyway, we are going to get knocked out

only hope i got is i got a doctors appointment at 9 30 this morning for my fucked wrist,hope i get told to not work

 

Gonna live stream it like I have done all the other games! Football at my desk will do fine!

 

Am working today but hoping to get back in time for kick-off though.
My children's school are letting all the kids go at 2:30 today for the match kicking at 3.
Apparently the parents have requested it and the school agreed

 

We have 40/50/60 inch screens all over all the floors anyway so it'll be on there, plus the networks team installed 2 additional proxy servers to handle the extra load of everyone watching the world cup at their desk via the web.
Gonna head down to facilities dept this morning and nick a couple of cases of beer off them.

Also got the option to go over to Cornhill where one of our suppliers has hired out a pub for the afternoon.

 

I've booked the whole of the tournament off so no work for me

Ditto. Well, I've been in work on the mornings and going home at 12 when there were 12:30 kick-offs, and now 2:30 when the earliest matches are 3pm

 

you watch all the matches ? i hope so or your gonna be bored when england get the boot this afternoon !!

 

Pub for me

 

We always have 50' screens on all day at work. I am watching England play Rugby live now. 29-28... great game!

 

We are not allowed to watch the football, we all offered to come in an hour and a half early and work our lunch breaks so that we could go at 2.30, they said no way!!!

 

We've got 50" screens that normally show tedious financial stuff/news... but when the games are on, they get switched over and the work rate drops ever so slightly.

Im finishing at 1 then gotta go set up the big outdoor screen and bbq at our pub in Windsor. Beer, Fottie , Bbq and sun what more could you possibly need

 

....a good looking woman to chew you off while you watch the football?

i'd rather work than watch the football anyway so i'm chuffed that nobody else at my work likes football so no screens, no radio, nothing, just the sunshine n a forklift to sit on, nice, maybe a mcflurry later on,

 

i fin at 2.30 the home with a few buds

 

started at 5.00 a.m. and finish at 2.00 p.m. for me.

come on england.

 

I am off today so will be watching it at home with my 18 month old daugther , wife is at work but they are aloud to watch it.
