I don't think you can tell on the prosumer level cameras, but if it hasnt been reset since you had it and the file naming is continous if the latest photo is like IMG_7900 it might've took 7900 photos, or 17900 photos or 27.9k photos, i think they are rated for 50k, but can do over that

If that's the case, it's take 1769 photos. And tbh with you, that wld probably be about right.
That's the reason I'm selling it. I never get the chance to use it

if you got it brand new this is probably true, there is no actual shutter rating, but they are fairly durable, i have a 350d myself.

I got it and everything else bar the 70-300mm lens brand new. The 17-35 lens has probably taken 50 photos max :-o

Dude you can view the pic you just took, and you can even zoom well into the pic.

It's a great camera, I have one too

You can view the pics on a 400D by pressing the play button (2nd up on left) and zoom in as stated above.

Thats all I do with mine.

Thats me viewing a picture of your post on the screen on the back.
The 17-35mm lens is gone, 75-300mm lens is due to go today.
So there would obviously be a price adjustment if you were still interested.
Can you let me know ASAP as I've actually already agreed to trade it in.
