Hey mates!

Can someone help me please. I just bought from a '96 Escort an 105hp 1,8 zetec engine to fit into my 89 mk4 Escort, and i just noticed that the starter motor is under the intake manifold, so i guess it wont fit in my mk4's original gearbox. Am i right? What gearbox do i need to have to get my mk4 some zetec power?

I've had 1,8 Zetec engine in '92 Escort, and there starter motor was under the exhaust manifold. That type of 1,8 zetec would propably fit in mk4 without any big modifications, even with zetec clutch.

 

My 2.0 l zetec has the starter up front and i have a rst box fitted

 

Is it easy to fit? Do you have some photos about it?
